ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above-listed position.

• Analyze information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization to design solutions for complex business problems.
• Develop information systems by designing, developing, testing and implementing software solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and presentations.
• Research and resolve production support issues as they occur.
• Collaborate with team members for recommendations on process improvement.
• Mentor less experienced developers in best practices, troubleshooting techniques, and development patterns.
• Accomplish engineering and organization goals by completing related tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position will not have supervisory responsibilities, but will conduct interviews and mentor junior associates.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent education experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience in modern software development practices to draw upon for solving complex problems.
• Experience and ability to work in an agile/SAFe environment.
