What You’ll DoWe’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives on tackling complex technical challenges while working across the stack. In this role, you will:
Build and Innovate: Design and develop high-performance, scalable applications using our modern tech stack (Java, REST, Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Terraform, AWS). You’ll be expected to lead by example and deliver production-ready code with a long-term perspective.
Collaborate & Mentor: Work closely with peers in code reviews and architectural discussions, while actively mentoring junior and mid-level engineers. You’ll help raise the technical bar for the entire team.
Enhance User Experiences: Optimize front-end features for speed and usability, ensuring consumers enjoy an intuitive, seamless experience—and helping guide front-end best practices when needed.
Own and Drive: Take full ownership of product areas, define KPIs to measure success, and drive initiatives from concept through to production. You’ll be trusted with key decisions and expected to lead delivery efforts.
Improve Processes: Research, recommend, and implement new tools, techniques, and best practices that keep our engineering team efficient and forward-thinking.
Contribute to #oneteam: Participate in sprint planning and cross-functional meetings, aligning technical efforts with business goals and helping steer product direction with your insights.

What We’re Looking For
Software Development Experience: You have several years of experience building and shipping real-world applications, working in production environments, and taking ownership of complex systems.
Java Expertise: Proficiency in Java (or any typed language) with a solid understanding of object-oriented design, common design patterns, and building robust, maintainable applications.
Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in iterative sprints, adapting to changes, and delivering continuously—with an ability to lead by example.
Tooling & Platforms: Experience with GitHub or similar version control, Gradle/Maven, and a knack for navigating Linux or macOS environments.
Communication Skills: Fluent in English with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to influence decisions through your experience.
Nice to Have
Educational Background: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Big Data & Cloud: Experience with Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Terraform, and AWS.
Database Skills: Strong grasp of relational databases, SQL, and efficient data modeling.
Spring Framework: Familiarity with Spring or similar frameworks to build scalable, maintainable services.
Front-End Familiarity: Comfort working with Vue or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
