What is this position about?  

You will be working with a diverse team composed of talented Engineers immersed in the area of ads Customer interfaces. The team's objective is to build full-stack web apps, distributed services, and data pipelines to support the digital advertising industry. The goal is to create seamless, efficient solutions that enhance user experience and simplify workflows for internal and external customers.

You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office! 

Job Description

• Design and Development: Architect and implement high-quality distributed backend services that meet user needs and performance standards.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a diverse team of full-stack developers, software engineers, DevOps specialists, quality assurance professionals, and product managers to drive feature delivery.
• Feature Planning: Actively participate in the planning, design, and refinement of features, bringing innovative ideas and collaborative designs to the table.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop new features while writing comprehensive test cases to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Continuous Improvement: Play an active role in enhancing our software delivery process by identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions that add value and reduce waste.
• End-to-End Ownership: Oversee the entire feature lifecycle, from initial design to deployment in customer-facing environments, ensuring seamless integration and user satisfaction.
• Problem Solving: Demonstrate a strong ability to troubleshoot complex challenges and provide effective solutions that enhance user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in Python
• Knowledge of Node.js development.
• At least 8 years of software development experience.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases, including optimization and indexing.
• Understanding of Airflow DAGs, event-driven architectures, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of HTTP and WebSocket protocols.
• Familiarity with version control tools like GitLab or GitHub.

Nice to Have

• Experience with serverless architectures and real-time data processing.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and front-end frameworks like React.

You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team. 

How much experience must I have? 

• In order to thrive in this position, you must have at least 8+ years of experience in similar roles.
