We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our product team in Helsinki

• Tech stack: Modern tech stack that allows you to contribute cross teams and grow from one area to another and expand your skills (React / React Native, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL)
• Openness and “best idea wins” mindset: Instead of following top-down directions, we make decisions together as a team, welcoming input from everyone and discussing important decisions out in the open.
• Ownership: True end to end ownership of features. Engineers own features from architecture to deployment
• Frequent releases: Every engineer can create new app & backend versions. Most of the process is automated. We don’t have a strict release schedule, and we prioritize flexibility and release whenever something is ready.

You will play a critical role in driving technical excellence and enhancing the usability of our mobile application and other products and services. This role provides the opportunity to take ownership of our mobile app, lead development projects, and contribute directly to improving the lives of thousands of people.

• Build and improve mental health products used by our patients (mobile + web apps) and therapists (web applications)
• Working closely with design and product management to implement user-centered and maintainable technical solutions
• Proactively identify and solve technical challenges, ensuring we ship high-impact features efficiently rather than endlessly fine-tuning
• Mentor and coach team members to improve their technical competence and help them grow

• Proactive and results-driven: You take ownership of projects, make decisions independently when needed, and prioritize shipping impactful features over endless polishing.
• Experience in full-stack mobile development, with expertise in mobile (React Native) and hands-on backend experience with Node.js and Typescript.
• Strong communicator: You work effectively with stakeholders such as designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to bring ideas to life, ensuring technical feasibility and high-quality user experiences.
• Understanding of the product development lifecycle and user-centric design
