As a part of the team, you will apply your background in software engineering principles and practices, with specific expertise in Ab Initio. Support the team towards automation in building and testing data pipelines, test data management, and DevSecOps.

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

• Have solid hands-on experience of data engineering principles and practices with Unix/Linux, Ab Initio and other data integration tools and frameworks.

• Proven ability to design and develop scalable test automation frameworks for data pipelines and platforms.

• Pride themselves in developing and rollout test harnesses, frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to enable test automation, CI/CD and code quality

• Have solid hands-on experience with test data management and ensuring the quality and availability of test data.

• Are knowledgeable of machine learning and data visualization techniques

• Are confident demonstrating coding, design, debugging and problem-solving skills

Tech skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;

• ETL and Data management applications – Abinitio 

• AWS Cloud.

• Algo credit manager – SSCM

• SQL Server, Oracle, PostGres

• CI/CD concepts and ability to create pipelines in Jenkins, Teamcity, Ab Initio EME

• Coding - Python, Java, Scala

• Integration, knowledge of MQs, REST APIs and Kafka

• DevOps and production support.
