At Metrum Research Group, you’ll get a chance to work with product stakeholders to implement solutions within the REST API and gRPC services and various react based frontends.
A Day In the Life Of:
In this role, you’ll get:
- To work with the product team to architect and design solutions and features
- To work with a minimal footprint microservice architecture
- To work on several APIs (REST / gRPC) at varying layers of access
- The option to work on the associated UIs
- Exposure to the OIDC (Auth2) / SAML identity standards
- Exposure to Cloudformation and Terraform
Must Have Skills:
On day one, we’ll expect you to:
- Have a solid understanding of golang
- Have a solid understanding of testing
- How to test in go
- The various layers of testing
- External testing strategies and tooling
- Have built and implemented REST and gRPC services
- Have experience building / managing database schemas
- Have some experience setting up modern identity standards (OIDC / SAML)
- Have some experience deploying and managing applications with a cloud provider (AWS [Preferred], Azure, GCP etc)
What Separates the Best from the Rest:
- Familiarity with software orthogonality
- Experience with Kubernetes or AWS ECR
- Experience with Terraform or Cloudformation
- Experience with gRPC
- Experience with generative AI
- Linux administration (Debian flavored)
- Experience working under FDA 21 CFR Part 11 Regulations
Physical Demands
The job frequently requires working at a computer terminal, standing or sitting, and the ability to operate the computer with proficiency.
Work Environment
The work environment is quiet with no adverse conditions.
