The Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our product team focused on empowering coaches and players with the tools and insights to level up their team and individual performance. Whether it's designing seamless user experiences, leveraging edge AI to craft the optimal solution or building scalable systems, your work will touch the sports community worldwide.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver products that empower coaches, players, and their supporters, and meet business goals.
- Contribute to the full product lifecycle—ideation, development, deployment, and monitoring—while leveraging customer feedback loops to iteratively refine and improve products.
- Ensure high performance, security, and scalability across all aspects of the software.
- Leverage and enhance Veo’s design system to create intuitive user experiences.
- Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and decisions to shape Veo’s technology landscape.
What You Could Bring
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, in a high growth environment.

- A problem-solving mindset and clear understanding of what good looks like when it comes to building and operating large-scale systems.
- An eye for architecture: you can discuss the tradeoff between architectural choices, both on a theoretical level and on an applied level.
- An appreciation for clean, maintainable code and best practices.
- Proficiency in both backend (e.g., Python, typescript, Node.js … and with ability to pick up new ones) and frontend (e.g. React) technologies.
- Experience with testing practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Interest in coaching others and supporting their growth as engineers.
- Comprehensive verbal and written English communication skills.
