The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Join an engineering team as a senior or staff-level generalist, building features across a web platform and its backend services. You will take on complex problems from start to finish and work side by side with colleagues in product and design.
What you'll do
- Build analysis and insight features, including conversational interfaces within the platform.
- Develop participant incentive and recruitment features for self-serve workflows, including list and panel management.
- Contribute to the overall product experience and the design system.
- Team up with product and design colleagues on initiatives that are heavily product-driven.
- Work on platform tasks such as distributed systems and APIs.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience at an early-stage startup, ideally a fast-growing one with a high technical bar.
- A track record of leading a significant product, feature or platform build from the ground up.
- At least one of the following: fast promotions, coding competition wins, internal awards for standout systems work, or experience as a founder or founding engineer.
- A computer science degree from a highly ranked university.
- Founder-like ownership and comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Bonus points
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.

- Base salary: USD 200,000 to 300,000 per year
