What you will doLead technical design and development for complex software features, products, and improvements.
Contribute throughout the application lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Lead smaller projects or serve as a significant technical contributor on larger initiatives.
Troubleshoot complex software issues and deliver complete, well-designed solutions.
Serve as a subject matter expert for key systems and help shape engineering practices and technical direction.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, cross-training, and knowledge sharing, supported by clear technical documentation.
Collaborate across teams to communicate technical decisions and project progress while ensuring quality, security, and regulatory standards are met.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 7 or more years of software development experience; a master’s degree and 1–2 years of project leadership experience are preferred.
Strong experience with an object-oriented language, common web development patterns such as model-view-controller, and enterprise software development on Agile teams.
Strong relational database expertise, including design, programming, and performance tuning, plus experience with Entity Framework or a similar framework; Microsoft SQL Server preferred.
Experience designing secure applications, solving difficult technical problems independently, and making sound design decisions.
Strong communication and technical leadership skills, with the ability to mentor engineers, influence across teams, and manage competing priorities.
Basic understanding of durable medical equipment and hospice operations, with a commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Preferred experience includes JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React, cloud platforms such as AWS, scripting tools, Xamarin mobile development, or benefits, transaction processing, or financial services systems.
Your technical decisions will influence how our software performs, evolves, and supports the business. By solving complex problems, strengthening engineering practices, and helping other engineers develop, you’ll build dependable systems that support Dragonfly Health’s operations and continued growth.

Skills Required
