Position: Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089
Duties: Create and configure simple, testable, maintainable code for entire component and application and ensure the components are meeting business and technical requirements, non-functional requirements, low-maintainability, high-availability and high-scalability needs. Assist in design of solutions such that the processes and applications work in tandem for specific components and modules of a product. Explore relevant products and solutions from an existing repertoire, which can address business and technical needs. Ensure adherence to the project against approved milestones and timelines. Track and analyze defects for the component and module and carry out regression testing to fix defects in all instances of code changes.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 1 year of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related area.
Skills required: Experience creating and maintaining UI applications using JavaScript and typescript frameworks. Experience creating UI components using HTML, CSS, and SCSS. Experience with UI code test coverage using JavaScript unit test framework including Chai, Mocha, and Jest. Experience storing data in NoSQL DB including Redis and MongoDB. Experience using design tool including Figma and Adobe XD for collaboration for wireframe of proposed work. Experience with Jenkins to configure and deploy applications. Experience testing Java code using Junit. Experience using version control tools including Gitlab and GitHub maintaining application code. Experience using Jira project tracking tool. Experience enhancing and maintaining applications and services written in Java, and J2EE. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
