About the team:
Our team develops reusable technologies that enhance customer acquisition, onboarding, and merchant empowerment, ensuring seamless experiences across in-store, mobile app, and website channels. We optimize tariffs and assortment aligned with Walmart’s Everyday Low Cost philosophy. Utilizing advanced cloud-native architecture and model-driven design, we deliver scalable, reliable solutions supporting millions of users. The team fosters innovation through collaboration and continuous improvement, integrating AI agents and technical expertise to create customized, efficient experiences. This environment promotes technical excellence and strategic problem-solving to address evolving business and customer needs.
What you'll do:

• Own delivery of scoped features or models through collaborative engineering, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
• Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI/ML components and GenAI tools to enhance software capabilities and development efficiency.
• Participate in solution design, evaluating trade-offs and ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to maintain high-quality software.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Monitor application performance and ensure adherence to project milestones through effective program reporting.

What you'll bring:

• Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
• Strong experience delivering scoped features through iterative development and collaborative engineering.
• Proficiency in debugging, code review, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with platform objectives.
• Skilled in integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development.
• Demonstrated technical judgment in balancing trade-offs and driving high-quality deliverables.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and mentoring within engineering teams.
