The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Own large areas of product and infrastructure, building reliable services and improving the systems behind customer operations.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain backend and full-stack services.
- Own architecture, deployment, and production reliability for features.
- Lead scaling and infrastructure improvements.
- Translate customer needs into technical solutions with product and design.
- Mentor teammates and help improve engineering standards.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 8 to 14 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Production delivery experience in a fast-growing startup or comparable environment.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and a computer science or related technical degree.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Go and ability to write production code independently.
- Experience owning complex services and solving technical problems across the stack.
Bonus points
- Experience scaling systems through substantial growth.
- Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, or Terraform experience.
Benefits
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 195,000 to 250,000 per year.
- Equity: Competitive equity.
- Location-specific salary bands are USD 210,000 to USD 250,000 in New York or San Francisco, and USD 196,000 to USD 240,000 in Denver.
- Relocation support for suitable candidates.
Location and work model
- Office-based in New York City, San Francisco, or Denver, with four days in the office and one remote day.
- Role-specific eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or candidates on TN or E-3 visas.
