The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Join as a Senior Software Engineer with ownership over complete product areas. The work is roughly split between writing code and defining product direction, including customer conversations and user-experience decisions.
What you'll do
- Own product features from discovery and design through backend implementation and release.
- Build and scale core backend systems.
- Work directly with technical leadership on architecture and delivery.
- Use AI development tools while taking responsibility for production quality.
- Make product decisions and speak with customers without relying on a separate product manager.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 3 to 6 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Strong backend engineering and end-to-end systems ownership.
- Hands-on experience with AI or LLM-powered product features.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Ability to combine coding with product definition and design judgment.
- Comfort delivering independently in a fast-moving environment.
Bonus points
- Startup experience.
- Independent projects or side products with meaningful revenue.
Benefits
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 200,000 to 300,000 per year.
- Equity: 0.75-1.25%.
- A performance-based bonus may be available for top talent.
Location and work model
- Manhattan, New York, United States.
- Five days per week onsite plus a sixth working day remotely on Saturday.
