  • Build Java/Scala-based RESTful APIs that address functional requirements and support scalable system performance.
  • Partner with Business Analysts to identify design gaps and recommend improvements to system functionality.
  • Produce effort estimates for new features, enhancements, and change requests to inform project planning and delivery timelines.
  • Create and execute unit tests for developed components, ensuring code quality and adherence to design standards.
  • Troubleshoot defects and operational issues across development, staging, and production environments to maintain system reliability.
  • Apply knowledge of technologies, methodologies, and tools to support project delivery goals and contribute to continuous improvement.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade software using Java and JavaScript.
  • Practical knowledge of designing and consuming RESTful APIs, including API integration and data exchange patterns.
  • Familiarity with Scala in a backend or service-oriented development context.
  • Experience using Splunk for log analysis, monitoring, and performance troubleshooting across multi-environment systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and execute unit tests, with an understanding of software testing best practices.
  • Skill in diagnosing and resolving defects across multiple deployment environments, including production.
  • Ability to translate technical designs into quality software solutions with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a project-driven environment.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience supporting Federal Government, CMS, or other highly regulated healthcare systems.
