JOB DUTIES:
- The candidate shall perform software engineering design and development activities to produce reliable, modular, and secure software components.
- The work will include development of software on a RHEL OS platform.
- This will include software development with custom C++ based applications, X windows-based applications, and web-based middleware.
- Development will consist of application writing and policy for security accreditations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7). Additional years experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have an Active Secret Clearance.
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance after start.
- Must have Solid Linux (RHEL) familiarity.
- Must have strong background in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, React, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React Js, Angular, jQuery and LESS.
- Strong Web experience.
- Industry experience designing, building, and maintaining large scale systems in production.
- Experience working with Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux.
- Familiarity with DBMS technology, including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB and MySQL.
- Basic design ability: Including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design.
- Excellent understanding of low-level operating systems concepts including multi-threading, memory management, networking and storage, performance, and scale.
- Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it.
- DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with C++.
- Strong CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
