Ryz Labs is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our startup studio!
This is a long-term hybrid role (1 day per week at a coworking space in Palermo).
What You’ll Do
• Build and ship production-ready features across backend and frontend
• Develop and maintain scalable APIs and services (Node.js or Python or Java)
• Exposure to frontend development with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions
• Integrate AI tools and APIs into applications and workflows
• Debug and resolve issues across the stack in a production environment
What We’re Looking For
• +5 years of experience in full-stack development
• Strong backend skills with Node.js and/or Python or Java.
• Exposure to frontend development with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar is considered a plus
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and system design
• Exposure to AI tools, APIs, and strong interest in working with AI
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-moving environments
• Excellent communication skills in English
Nice to Have
• Experience working with AI/LLM APIs or building AI-powered features
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Experience in startup or high-growth environments
