We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who combines strong hands-on engineering skills
with the maturity to own complex features end-to-end, mentor peers, and raise the technical bar
across the team.
Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and own significant components of our SaaS
platform. You will take features from ambiguous requirements through design, implementation,
testing, and production operation. You will make sound technical decisions within your area,
contribute to architecture discussions, and mentor engineers around you.
This role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, solid experience with distributed
systems and cloud-native development, and a track record of delivering reliable, high-quality
software. The ideal candidate is a self-driven builder who takes ownership, cares deeply about
quality, and enjoys solving hard technical problems.
Key Responsibilities
Software Engineering
- Design, build, and own end-to-end features and services across the platform.
- Build scalable APIs, backend services, and cloud-native applications.
- Build and operate event-driven workflows using Kafka-compatible messaging, background
- workers, and reliable async processing patterns.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable, and performant code.
- Contribute to frontend and full-stack development as needed.
- Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and security within your area.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including on-call participation.
Technical Contribution & Design
- Translate ambiguous requirements into well-structured technical designs.
- Participate in and contribute to design reviews and architecture discussions.
- Make pragmatic technical decisions and clearly document trade-offs.
- Identify technical risks early and propose practical solutions.
- Drive adoption of reusable components, shared services, and engineering best practices.
Quality & Operational Excellence
- Uphold high standards for design, code quality, testing, and operational readiness.
- Write and review unit, integration, and automated tests.
- Improve observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting for your services.
- Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Mentor and support junior engineers through pairing and code reviews.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Contribute to a culture of ownership, learning, and engineering excellence.
AI-Enabled Engineering
- Use modern AI tools to improve development speed, quality, and productivity.
- Apply AI-assisted development practices while maintaining strong engineering standards, security, and code quality.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of software engineering experience building production-grade applications.
- Strong experience building and operating cloud-native SaaS or web applications.
- Solid understanding of software design, distributed systems, and modern engineering practices.
- Proven ability to own and deliver complex features independently.
- Experience debugging and resolving performance, scalability, and reliability issues.

- Frontend experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript/modern JavaScript.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and search technologies (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch).
- Experience with AWS and related services (S3, ECS/EKS/Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, ElastiCache, CloudWatch).
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform) and Docker/CI-CD pipelines.
- Experience with monitoring, observability and APM tools (OpenTelemetry, New Relic, CloudWatch).
- Strong software design skills: OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, secure coding and system design.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and incident management.
