Responsibilities
- Create and expand our in-house tools, and help drive the development and architecture of an
agile framework that adapts to quickly evolving requirements - Design software solutions for the systematic automation of tower’s operations, liaising with other teams and internal clients to organize
information and requirements - Support and mentor technical team members, facilitating team organization
- Architect software to collect, analyze and visualize large amounts of data
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to address infrastructure management challenges
- Analyze and integrate technical requirements into architecture decisions
- Maintain the integrity of development practices, ensuring code quality and consistency
- Document software specifications and architectural decisions
Qualifications
- Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study
- 3 years of experience in a software engineer or developer role
- Experience specified must include 3 years of experience with each of the following:
- At least one of the following languages: Go, Python or Java
- Architecting large software systems composed of micro services
- Full-stack and web-based application development
- Working with relational databases and handling large datasets
- HTTP servers, caching and building webservices
- Systems and network automation
- Monitoring and alerting
- Message queuing or distributed messaging frameworks
- Time series data storage and analysis
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
