The Grab "Identity" team manages multiple aspects of user identity and authentication within the Grab ecosystem.

Get to Know the Role

You will ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and automation strategies. You will report to the QA Engineering Manager II.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Develop test plans, test cases, and automated scripts for web, mobile, and API testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other partners to understand product requirements and implement testing strategies
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on multiple software applications
• Design test automation frameworks, tools and scripts
• Analyse test results, identify bugs, and work with the development team to debug and resolve issues
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve overall code quality
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as Software Engineer in Test / Software Development Engineer in Test / Automation Engineer / Software Development Engineer
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools and best practices
• High proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go or JavaScript) for test automation
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools for web, mobile, and API testing (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or Postman)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is must
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies and shift-left testing
• Experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications
• Knowledge of API testing and ability to analyse API responses and logs
• Understanding of database concepts and SQL queries
