Qualifications
- 5 years of practical experience in a SDET role
- 2 years of practical experience testing SPA applications
- 2 years of practical experience with Java
- Outstanding collaboration and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to learn quickly, take direction, work independently, and as part of a team
- Ability to develop automation for every aspect of the deployment
- Ability to debug and isolate the root cause of complex issues
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree
Beneficial Experience
- Professional experience using Playwright and Jmeter
- Professional experience using cybersecurity and open source technology
- Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools
Responsibilities
- Design, create an implement automated tests that are performant and robust
- Execute functional, integration and regression testing plans and scripts
- Work closely with engineers and product owners
- Log, track and document bugs discovered during testing as well as gather all necessary information
- Document, analyze and communicate results of functional testing
- Help train other employees on automation testing in the future
- Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers
- Development of technical specifications and assisting in plans as they pertain to the testing of our applications
- Troubleshoot test failures quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
- Actively seek ways to improve business software testing processes and interactions
- Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of our automation technologies
