As our team continues to grow and evolve, we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead to drive our technology forward, mentor engineers, and spearhead innovative software solutions that differentiate AnswerHero in the market.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and career development support.
- Define and drive the technical vision for AnswerHero, making key decisions on architecture, design, and implementation.
- Develop and deploy scalable, high-quality software solutions using .Net, C#, MS SQL, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Ensure engineering best practices, including clean code, maintainability, and security.
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to align software development with AnswerHero’s business goals.
- Manage project timelines and resources, mitigating risks and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Innovate and explore emerging technologies (including AI) to enhance AnswerHero’s services.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
- 7+ years of experience in professional software development, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
- Expertise in .Net, C#, MS SQL, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, and API development.
- A product-driven mindset that balances technical feasibility with business impact.
- Proven ability to design scalable software architectures and make strategic technical decisions.
- Experience mentoring and growing engineers at various skill levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A track record of successfully delivering high-quality software solutions on time.
