As a Senior UI/UX Developer, you will help guide the creation, installation, and support for systems in our attractions. We work closely with internal partners to deliver world-class guest experiences with interactive systems across Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Lines.
You will report to Manager, Platform Systems.
What You Will Do
- Develop or update the UI/UX for several next-generation proprietary Disney software packages
- Create and use storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design concepts
- Using latest design concepts to create engaging interfaces
- Develop mockups and prototypes that demonstrates site usage and looks
- Work with internal lines of business and stakeholders to identify best solutions for our customers
- Document development decision points, strategies, workflows and final design
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Front end languages: 5+ years of experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
- Front end frameworks: 5+ years of experience with Next.JS and React
- Experience with agile software development
- Experience using tools: Jira, Gitlab and Confluence
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks
- Ability to gather and translate user requirements into a cohesive design
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated testing
- Experience creating wireframes in Lucidchart
Education
Required Education
- Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background
Preferred Education
- Master of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
