Overview
Join a team that designs and builds systems controlling and protecting access to an organization’s computing resources. You’ll develop secure, scalable services that enable users and applications to access infrastructure safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Design and implement authentication, authorization, and auditing solutions using standard protocols.
Build backend services and tools using Python, Go, or similar languages.
Contribute to architecture and infrastructure design for secure access systems.
Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
Integrate with technologies such as LDAP, SSH, and encryption standards (TLS, PGP).
Apply modern software development lifecycle practices.
Stay current with industry trends and open-source innovations.
Qualifications
4+ years of programming experience in an object-oriented language (Python, Go, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience with authentication and encryption protocols (RADIUS, LDAP, Kerberos, TLS, PGP).
Familiarity with Unix/Linux authentication frameworks (PAM, SSH, SSSD).
Preferred
Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience building and maintaining distributed systems.
