At The Flex, we believe renting a home should feel as effortless as ordering an Uber.
Our mission is bold — to make renting borderless, instant, and intelligent.
Through Base360.ai, our proprietary platform, we’re building the digital nervous system of the rental world — connecting property data, automating operations, and creating an intelligent infrastructure that powers every stay, everywhere.
We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help architect and scale the systems that power The Flex — from seamless guest bookings and payment flows to predictive automation and global integrations.
If you’re someone who thrives at the intersection of software, systems, and scale, this is your opportunity to help shape a product that redefines how millions live and move.
💡 What You’ll BuildYou’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling the software that runs The Flex platform.
From backend APIs and automation pipelines to cloud infrastructure and data synchronization, you’ll ensure every system we build is fast, reliable, and intelligent.
You’ll work across teams — product, ops, and data — to bring clarity and automation to the complex world of global rentals.
⚙️ Your MissionArchitect the Core – Design and implement scalable, high-performance services that power bookings, payments, and automation workflows.
Automate Everything – Build intelligent microservices and serverless functions that remove repetitive manual work.
Scale Seamlessly – Design infrastructure capable of handling thousands of stays and millions of transactions across continents.
Integrate Intelligently – Connect Base360.ai to platforms like Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio, and Hostaway.
Enhance Intelligence – Work with AI-driven automation tools to create predictive and adaptive systems.
Mentor & Elevate – Share best practices, review code, and guide junior engineers toward technical excellence.
5+ years of experience in software engineering (preferably across full stack or backend).
Strong skills in Node.js, Python (FastAPI), and AWS (serverless stack preferred).
Proven experience designing API-first architectures and event-driven systems.
Strong understanding of databases, automation, and distributed architectures.
Curiosity about AI, real estate tech, and intelligent automation.
A “get it done” mindset — capable of balancing speed, quality, and scalability.
Massive Impact. Your code will automate real operations, powering thousands of stays across borders.
Global Mission, Lean Team. No silos. No bureaucracy. Just builders who move fast.
Ownership & Autonomy. You’ll own major parts of the stack and shape the technical direction.
Performance-Driven Rewards. Competitive compensation + upside for high performers.
Remote-First Culture. Work from anywhere — impact matters more than hours.
You want a slow, predictable 9–5 job.
You prefer meetings over building.
You’re comfortable being average.
You’re not striving to operate in the top 1% of your craft.
