Essential:

• Growth mindset and the passion to grow knowledge across the division.

• At least 8 years’ experience of software development on both client and server-side applications.

• Hands on experience of integration systems.

• Hands on experience with Developing build and deployment pipelines, such as ADO, GitHub Actions.

• Hands on experience with infrastructure as code, for example Bicep or Terraform.

• Hands on experience monitoring and resolving production issues.

• Aptitude and hunger to learn and adapt to the ever-changing cloud technologies.

• Proficient in at least 1 programming language such as C# .Net for desktop and cloud systems.

• Wide range of experience with and knowledge of cloud systems

• Experience with IaaS and SaaS Cloud Architecture, such as Azure, Amazon web services

• An ability to understand and translate product and business requirements into technical solutions rapidly and effectively.

• Logical and Analytical Mindset.

• Significant and demonstrable experience of scripting languages.

• Proven experience of project working and commercial development processes - particularly Agile methodologies.

• Experience of working in an environment where products must be delivered to specific timescales.

• Experience of working with code repositories (e.g. Git, SVN), bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Bugzilla) and Wikis (e.g. Confluence).

• Experience of supporting, modifying and maintaining systems and code developed by teams other than your own

Desirable:

• Experience of commercial development and working directly with customers.

• Expert in at least 1 programming language such as C# .Net for desktop and cloud systems.

• Desire & willing to learn from anyone on the team.

• Hands-on experience implementing various application/solution migration strategies (i.e. on-premise datacentres to public clouds).

• Significant and demonstrable experience of test-driven development alongside use of automated test frameworks, mocking/stubbing and XUnit.

• Demonstrable experience using Behaviour Driven Development with Gherkin.

• Experience of RESTful and XML (SOAP) Web services

• Experience of JSON.

• Experience of OAuth 2.0

• Experience of mobile application development (WP, iOS, Android)

• InstallShield 12 or above

• Experience of Crystal Reports and/or Microsoft Reports

• Experience of Power BI
