We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on a project in the travel and mobility industry.

You will be part of a distributed team developing new technologies to solve real business problems. Our client is a leading travel technology company that powers global car rental and mobility solutions for major brands across the airline and travel sectors.
We are looking for someone with good communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and IT teams to understand and clarify business requirements.
- Work closely with peers to break down requirements into clear, actionable technical tasks.
- Take ownership of technical tasks and deliver high-quality, performant code along with appropriate unit and integration tests.
- Contribute to the timely delivery of projects by aligning with team priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Build an understanding of the architecture across multiple products and actively participate in design discussions and technical decision-making.
- Provide constructive, timely feedback through regular code reviews to support team quality and growth.
- Maintain up-to-date technical skills and help foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
What you will bring:
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks and ES6, with a strong emphasis on React or Angular.
- Proven experience in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience developing single-page applications (SPAs) using TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Ability to write modular, scalable, and clean code.
- Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary teams and taking ownership of individual tasks.
- Experienced in Agile development environments.
- Skilled in building responsive web applications for both desktop and mobile.
- Strong understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance optimization.
- Proficient with version control tools like Git.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests, using tools such as Jest.
- Familiar with automated testing practices.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tooling, including Docker and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with frontend build tools like Webpack.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass.
- Good understanding of working with RESTful APIs.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to MongoDB and GraphQL is a plus.
