About the role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience using Python, Django, and FastAPI, and will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python, Django, and FastAPI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth.

About you

Key requirements:

• 5–6 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks like Django and FastAPI.
• Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
