About the role:
As a member of the product engineering organization, you will be embedded within one of our small teams, of 3-5 engineers, focused on delivering mission-critical capabilities into the hands of those who serve our nation. You’ll work directly with Product Managers, Designers, Mission and Engineers to define the product and technical direction for our product(s).
As a senior engineer, you are expected to take ownership and do whatever it takes to deliver game changing capabilities. You will drive key technical decisions and establish best practices for software engineering within your team. You’ll have a chance to build applications that leverage state of the art tools in Machine Learning and AI, to solve for mission-critical workflows.
- Develop applications to be hosted on classified networks
- Implement new features and user interfaces.
- Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications in environments with performance and resource constraints.
- Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, Mission, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.
- Own and ship significant features along with architectural changes in collaboration with junior developers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers.
4+ years of software development building user-facing products.
4+ years of experience building responsive and performant web UIs.
2+ years of full stack development, including familiarity with relational databases (like Postgres), caching technologies (like Redis), and object stores (like S3).
Demonstrated knowledge of tools and best-practices for testing web applications is a huge plus.
You must be a US resident or citizen.
- Experience with Typescript, React, and JavaScript
- Experience building working on front end frameworks
- Ability to obtain clearance
What we offer
The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $210,000 + equity + 401K match. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, relevant education, and/or training.
