Since it’s not a very usual software development role we expect a lot from you: to be able to learn and adapt fast, be creative, have analytical thinking so you could crunch business cases, as well you have to be very goal-oriented otherwise would be a bit hard in this ambitious team. As a Senior Software Engineer (Node.js), you'll join a dynamic team committed to innovation. The team focuses on working with exciting and unique projects within the business management, fleet management, and energy sectors, tackling technical challenges. Collaborating with experienced professionals, you'll gain valuable skills and insights.
In this role, you will
- Participate in the planning and refinement of tasks
- Exhibit ownership over specific epics
- Independently develop features using Node.js and related technologies
- Take part in code reviews and the quality assurance workflow
- Use modern programming standards and practices
- Actively engage in mentoring, both seeking mentorship and providing assistance to junior colleagues
- Act as a trustworthy team player by understanding team practices and providing ideas for improvement
What you will bring
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript
- Experience working with SQL databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks.
- Experience in component-based system development
- Understanding and implementation of microservices-based systems architecture
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication
- Fluency in Lithuanian and English
- Experience with React or Vue frontend development

Salary range: € 3500 - 6500 gross / month
