Senior Software Engineer - .NET

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET, ASP.NET Core, Node.js, Azure Cloud, SQL Server, MongoDB, and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Experience in Healthcare, Insurance, or Employee Benefits domains will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Core, Node.js, and Azure.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.
• Build and enhance responsive user interfaces using Angular or React.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Lead Engineers, QA Engineers, and fellow developers to understand business requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, MongoDB, and Cosmos DB.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or JWT.
• Participate in application design discussions and contribute to architecture and technical decision-making.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers by promoting coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated testing initiatives.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and implement continuous improvements.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and engineering practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Core, and Node.js.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cosmos DB.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including:
  • Azure App Services
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Azure Storage
  • Azure Service Bus (preferred)
• Experience with front-end development using Angular or React.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and clean architecture.
• Experience implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare, HealthTech, Insurance, or Employee Benefits platforms.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Serilog.
• Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus.
