The Senior Software Engineer will report to the Senior Manager - Software Engineering and is part of the Service R&D organization located in Bangalore and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Support team members through pair programming and code reviews. Evaluate basic technology choices and eloquent trade-offs.
- Apply principles of SDLC and Lean/Agile/TDD/CI/CD methodologies to deliver high quality, secured, and scalable software modules.
- Write C#.NET to develop Windows Services that meets standards and delivers desired functionality for the project.
- Write React JS, Redux, HTML, Java script code on .NET core/framework including REST APIs to develop Web Services that meets standards and delivers desired functionality for the project.
- Use Multithreading approach to achieve performance. Use cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and/or WCF. Optimizing existing and ongoing Application for improved performance, scalability, and efficiency.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred with 5+ years of industry experience in software/system verification and validation
- Proficient in C#/HTML/JS on .NET core/framework.
- Skilled in Azure DevOps Repos/Pipelines to enable incremental software development.
- Exposure to InstallShield to run installation upgrades during consecutive releases.
- Earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Biotechnology/Life Sciences industry
- GMP & regulatory environments
- QMS and Documentation Practices
