The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Monetization team, a group dedicated to expanding and retaining Veo’s customer base. This team plays a central role in how users discover, evaluate, purchase, and renew their access to Veo’s technology. Your work will directly impact our mission of making sports technology accessible to everyone.
In Monetization, you’ll build data-driven, full-stack solutions that optimize user flows, from onboarding through purchase and renewal. The team works with a pragmatic, modern stack - Python, TypeScript, Rust on the backend, and React and TypeScript on the frontend - with a strong focus on e-commerce architecture, checkout flows, authentication, real-time data pipelines, and application security.
What You Will Do
- Design, build, and optimize end-to-end fullstack solutions that drive the entire monetization journey, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Develop backend services and microservices using Python, Node.js, and Rust, following clean architecture principles.
- Build efficient, maintainable, and intuitive frontend applications using React and TypeScript, with attention to accessibility and responsive design.
- Champion code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement of engineering standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, designers and stakeholders to deliver impactful features.
What You Could Bring
- 2+ years of experience as a software engineer and full-stack expertise with React, TypeScript, and backend development in Python and/or Node.js.
- Clear understanding of e-commerce architecture, checkout flows, authentication, real-time data pipelines, and application security.
- Experience with automated testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring performance at scale.
- A collaborative mindset, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver the best outcomes.
- Obsession with creating outstanding customer experiences through technical excellence.
- Comprehensive verbal and written English communication skills.
