Part of KINEXON Industries' software stack is the Fleet Manager, which orchestrates large fleets of mobile robots on the shopfloor of our customers. The Fleet Manager ensures an optimal scheduling of transport orders, while managing traffic and communicating with periphery components.
At the heart of KINEXON’s Fleet Manager, advanced algorithms find the best match of transport orders and mobile robots. Based on predictions and past data, we find the optimal solution to maximize the fleet throughput. We are looking for talented and experienced people from all fields of numerical optimization to push the cutting edge algorithms to the next level.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible to take your early concepts to production-quality, from simulation to real life
You take part in customer meetings to verify the requirements in close collaboration with our Solution Engineers
You write and review code together with your team
You contribute to the next generation of order scheduling, path finding and throughput optimization
YOUR PROFILE
Very good programming skills in Python, including a solid data science stack (for example, numpy, pytorch)
University degree in Computer Science or related subjects, or comparable work experience
Experience with optimization algorithms, preferably in the field of logistics and industrial production
Optional experience with message brokers and distributed architectures, preferably in Kafka
Optional experience with full-stack web development, including databases and Linux system administration
You are a reliable team player willing to take on responsibility and move the team forward with your own solutions
You are fluent in English, our day-to-day language
You have a quality mindset and soft skills to to spread your knowledge within our proactive agile work environment
