Evident ID is hiring a Senior Software Engineer. We are looking for a person located in Atlanta, Georgia, US.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software, including both new features and maintenance of existing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and support, to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during the development process
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with JVM development (Java, Scala, or Kotlin)
- Experience with Scala or willingness to learn it
- Experience with relational database design, preferably PostgreSQL
- Product oriented, technology agnostic, and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Experience with developing cloud native applications
- Focus on code quality: simplicity, testability, maintainability, documentation
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines, and remain flexible in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
