Requirements:
- 6+ years of commercial experience as a software engineer
- Java 17+ (Java 25 is a plus)
- Spring Boot 4
- Spring Data JPA
- Spring WebFlux and Spring Web
- Project Reactor
- SQL and MySQL
- Redis
- Understanding of multithreading and virtual threads
- Experience building low-latency, high-performance solutions
- Microservice architecture
- Understanding of basic cloud computing concepts; AWS experience is a plus
- Experience with metrics and dashboards; DataDog is a plus
- Experience preparing Kubernetes deployment configurations; Kustomize and ArgoCD are a plus
- REST APIs and gRPC
- Experience with CI; Bitbucket Pipelines is a plus
- Agile/Scrum
Nice to Have
- AdTech experience, including advertising concepts, SSP/DSP, click-tracking architecture, and OpenRTB
- Vector search and embeddings; Vespa Cloud is a plus
- Elasticsearch or other search engines
- AWS S3
- Familiarity with Databricks
- Experience working with performance tests (Gatling is a plus)
- Experience working with ML models and ONNX Runtime
- Experience with Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex
