We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer - iOS/tvOS to enhance our team. This role requires a skilled professional who is adept at building complex iOS and tvOS applications and mentoring junior engineers. YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)
- Lead the development and maintenance of advanced applications for iOS and tvOS platforms.
- Drive the entire application lifecycle, from concept to delivery and post-launch support.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices, code quality, and tech innovations.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
- Ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions by identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
- Optimize application performance through advanced profiling, tuning, and enhancements.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and contribute insights to internal technology discussions.
- Translate business requirements into viable and scalable applications.
YOU HAVE: (Qualifications, Required Skills & Experience)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in iOS development, with a solid track record of successful projects.
- Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI, with a deep understanding of iOS ecosystem.
- Extensive experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Expertise in integrating with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience in leading projects and mentoring junior developers.
- Strong familiarity with performance and memory tuning tools.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
DESIRED (Qualifications, Skills & Experience)
- Proven experience with tvOS and development for Apple TV.
- A strong presence on GitHub with contributions to open source projects.
- In-depth experience with GraphQL.
