Senior software engineers II play a key role in inspiring and driving outcomes within the engineering team. Engineers will look to you for solutioning of complex problems. You will engage actively with product teams to craft crystal clear requirements for engineers to take on and execute.
Your-Know-How- Strong experience in backend development, with expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, JavaScript, PHP, Python, or Java).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend services.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, caching strategies, and cloud-based infrastructures.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and contribute to technical discussions.
- Experience in PHP, JavaScript, and Go is an advantage but not a must.
- Design, develop, and optimize backend services to support CARSOME’s growing platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
- Enhance system performance, reliability, and security by implementing best practices and continuous improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain platform stability.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
