About the Recover Product and Team

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Experience: At least 4 years in software development, with a proven track record in Go and experience in another language.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of distributed, serverless architectures, particularly AWS Lambda. Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms (Docker, ECS, EKS, GKE).
  • Leadership: Not only will you lead projects, but you'll also guide technical decisions and architecture with confidence and clear communication.
  • Collaboration: A knack for working seamlessly with Product Management and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Quality Focus: An advocate for high-quality, robust, and well-tested code. Your commitment to end-to-end/integration testing ensures reliability.
  • Software Intuition: Beyond technical skills, you understand what makes software exceptional and can articulate these principles.

 

Bonus Points for

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code.
  • Coding experience in Python & Scala.
  • A desire to mentor and elevate your peers.
  • A vested interest in enhancing system reliability.
  • Experience with application performance monitoring tools, like Datadog.

What are some social events your company does?

There are a growing number of public and private offerings available to all employees. Since we are mainly a remote environment, there are bi-monthly meetings designed to explore & celebrate mental health, physical wellness, gender, race, and equity. Leadership is also very diligent in organizing department offsites.

What does your typical day look like?

A day at TrueML is fun as it’s truly different day-to-day. It can include defining requirements, working with Engineers, talking to our customers or clients, discussing new initiatives in the pipeline, building buy-in into our roadmap, and more. It's a mix of meetings, Slack conversations, and in-person working sessions and is never predictable.
