The Role
Design and implement a multi-tier offline-first synchronization architecture across device, edge, and cloud for a high-volume QSR platform. Apply conflict-resolution (vector clocks, merge policies), event sourcing, CQRS, and sagas; use real-time pub/sub/WebSockets; model PostgreSQL cloud data and reconcile with local/edge stores. Work with React Native, TypeScript, and Node.js.

WHY JOIN US
If you're looking for a place to grow, make an impact, and work with people who care, we'd love to meet you!
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement a multi-tier sync architecture — from local device store through restaurant edge to cloud backend — for a high-volume QSR platform. You will apply conflict-resolution strategies including vector clocks and merge policies, implement event sourcing, CQRS, and saga patterns across order, kitchen, payment, and receipt flows, and model the PostgreSQL cloud data layer against local and edge stores. The role requires deep offline-first experience beyond simple caching, with a React Native and Node.js delivery stack.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design multi-tier synchronization across local device storage, restaurant edge, and cloud backend with offline-first guarantees;
- Implement conflict-resolution strategies, including vector clocks, last-write-wins, merge policies, and eventual consistency;
- Apply event sourcing, CQRS, and saga patterns for order, kitchen, payment, and receipt flows;
- Use real-time pub/sub or WebSockets to maintain live state across devices;
- Model the cloud data layer on PostgreSQL and define reconciliation between local, edge, and cloud data stores.
MUST HAVES
- 4+ years of software engineering experience with production distributed-data or synchronization work;
- Strong React Native, TypeScript, and Node.js;
- Experience with offline-first or local-first data beyond simple caching;
- Solid distributed systems fundamentals, including conflict resolution, eventual consistency, idempotency, and ordering;
- Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging;
- Experience with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling;
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with CRDT-based synchronization, such as AutoMerge or Yjs;
- Experience with a local-first synchronization engine such as ElectricSQL;
- Experience with mobile local persistence technologies such as SQLite, MMKV, or WatermelonDB;
- Experience with PostgreSQL JSONB or document modeling;
- QSR, retail, or high-volume transactional experience.
PERKS AND BENEFITS
- Professional growth: Mentorship, TechTalks, and personalized growth roadmaps.
- Competitive compensation: USD-based pay with education, fitness, and team activity budgets.
- Exciting projects: Modern solutions with Fortune 500 and top product companies.
- Flextime: Flexible schedule with remote and office options.
