Zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) are critical to the future of blockchain scaling, interoperability, and privacy, but are too complex for most developers today. Succinct’s mission is to make ZKPs simple and accessible for all builders.
Our core product is SP1, a breakthrough zkVM (zero-knowledge virtual machine) that enables developers to generate ZK proofs from normal code (like Rust) with state-of-the-art performance.
To support SP1, we’ve built the Succinct Prover Network -- a protocol on Ethereum that coordinates a decentralized network of provers for universal ZK proof generation. This lets developers outsource proving to a global, competitive marketplace of provers.

The RoleWe’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead rollup integrations that combine SP1 and the Succinct Network with the various rollup stacks. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where you’ll own core infrastructure and drive product adoption among leading blockchain teams.
In this role you will:
Lead integrations of Succinct products with top-tier blockchain projects (e.g. OP Succinct).
Design and build new product features across SP1 and our Prover Network APIs based on real customer needs.
Prototype use cases and developer experiences that showcase the power of ZKPs and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
This role is ideal for engineers who combine technical depth with user empathy, and who thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
QualificationsDeep experience with Rust, Go, or TypeScript.
Strong familiarity with blockchain infrastructure and systems design.
Ability to ship end-to-end — from writing APIs to smart contracts to dev tooling.
A hacker mindset: pragmatic, fast-moving, and eager to explore new stacks.
Excellent communication and a collaborative approach to cross-functional work.
A bias for ownership and grit — you figure things out and drive them to completion.
Experience with rollup frameworks (e.g. OP Stack, Polygon CDK, or Arbitrum)
Familiarity with zero-knowledge proof systems and cryptographic protocols.
This role is remote-friendly with a preference for timezones with some overlap with PST (San Francisco). Our team is primarily based in San Francisco and works together in-person in an office. However, this particular role and team is remote-friendly and offers flexibility on location.
