What you will do

• Through this role you have an opportunity to design and develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the customer and the company.

• Architecture & Design Reviews and Code Reviews across teams.

• You also get to collaborate with team members to develop best practices and client requirements for the software.

• Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.

• In this role it would be important for you to professionally maintain all codes, best practices and create updates regularly to address the customer’s and company’s concerns

• You will show your skills in analyzing and testing programs/products before formal launch to ensure flawless performance

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 6–9 years of experience building scalable data platforms and backend systems in enterprise environments.

Backend & Application Engineering

• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot, building scalable and maintainable backend services

• Good understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed system design.

• Working knowledge of frontend technologies (React/Node.js) to support end-to-end solution delivery when needed.

• Ability to design and build backend services that integrate with data platforms, enabling data access, APIs, and application workflows

• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and working in Agile environments.

Data Engineering & Platform Expertise (Secondary)

• Strong experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines, including batch and real-time data processing systems

• Hands-on experience with data lakes and data warehouses, including schema design, partitioning, and performance optimization

• Proficiency in workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow (Astronomer preferred) for DAG design, scheduling, and pipeline reliability.
