🏢 Work Location: Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid schedule)
📅 Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-office Tues.–Thurs., remote Mon./Fri.)
🕒 Hours: 9am to 6pm
What You'll Do:
- Research, design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for your area
- Champion quality and meet quality requirements for all work, including unit test development, adherence to quality gates, and contribution to test plans
- Serve as technical lead for multi-contributor projects
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of critical production issues
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders in all aspects of Scrum and other team ceremonies
- Drive technical research and evaluation of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies
- Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives
Who You Are:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred
- 6-9 years of software engineering experience
- Adept at working with Git (GitHub Actions a plus), containers (Docker), and Apache/Linux
- Creative problem-solver
- A great teammate. Confident and passionate, yet humble and empathetic
- A champion and practitioner of Scrum’s principle qualities
- Full-stack development with focus on scalable, secure applications
- Backend: PHP 8+, Laravel, API development, unit testing
- Databases: MySQL/MariaDB (additionally Elasticsearch, Logstash & MongoDB preferred)
- Frontend: Vue.js 3+, responsive UI development
- Preferred: TypeScript, Zend/Laminas frameworks
