About the Team
This role is part of our Developers Team, which builds SDKs for developers to create applications on top of World ID and World App. World ID is a novel and cutting-edge privacy-preserving Proof of Personhood protocol that will serve as critical digital infrastructure in the age of AI. World App, one of the leading crypto wallets globally, has processed 105 million transactions since launch and over 5 million MAUs, making it the largest crypto application on Optimism.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA and/or Munich, Germany. We are in the office 5 days a week with circumstantial flexibility and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
About the Opportunity
- Build scalable and secure developer products for both World ID and World App
- Take the lead on designing, prioritizing and building new products to further empower existing devs and continue our top-tier developer experience
- You will work very closely with Design, Product & Ecosystem teams to understand user and technical constraints and requirements. You will continuously talk to users of your products, such as at conferences and hackathons around the World.
- You will work on production-grade developer tools, aimed at scalability.
About You
- You are a full stack engineer with 5+ years of experience building secure and scalable code for products with meaningful usage.
- Experience voicing customer feedback into product solutions (engineering makes substantive contributions to product definition)
- Passion about practical usage of blockchain technologies. We expect everyone on our team to be familiar and use blockchain products (you can learn on the job!).
- You are very energetic, independent and willing to roll up your sleeves.
- You are successful in ambiguous environments, are comfortable continuously reprioritizing, and have an MVP-mindset.
- You have very strong written communication skills and can clearly express and defend your opinions.
- Prior experience building tools & products for developers.
- Excited about World ID and World App.

Pay transparency statement (for CA and NY based roles):
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at TFH ranges from $216,000 - $240,000, plus a competitive long term incentive package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
