YOUR TEAMThe Nuna Enterprise Engineering team is building a consumer facing portal to manage communication and PHI data transactions between Nuna and our health systems, care team partners and patient focused mobile application. Capabilities include support for multi-channel CRM, CPaaS, BI tooling, EHR integrations.
We leverage a diverse set of tools and skill-sets in a dynamic, fast-paced, cohesive engineering team with opportunities to delve deeper into multiple areas of technical expertise - architecture, data security, full-stack web applications, developer operations and much more.
Our work spans across multiple internal and external teams, including : Product, InfraSec, Trust, Legal+Compliance, Clinical and more. We are a small yet mighty engineering team at Nuna. YOUR OPPORTUNITIESIn this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing on our overall architecture and strategy. You’ll build products that change the dynamics and incentives of the healthcare industry, transforming a zero-sum game of competition between payers and providers into patient-centered collaboration.
Build innovative and beautiful data visualizations that illuminate the path towards higher quality care at lower cost
Work with high throughput, scalable APIs that are responsible for ingesting workloads of ambiguous data and surfacing them as a crisp, clean contract for consumption
Design schemas in partnership with the data engineers and health data experts that can quickly serve results and generate reports
Manage our high stakes production environment, ensuring high availability/low latency and protecting our sensitive data with rigorous security
Identify big opportunities to improve our technology and our products, blazing trails through ambiguity
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
Passionate about our mission: improving healthcare access and affordability for all
In depth knowledge of React (state management, call backs, etc) and experience building component based UIs
Experience building robust frontend applications, with a strong focus on security, performance, scalability, reliability, and repeatability
Experience rapidly prototyping new product concepts, especially for enterprise clients, with a heavy focus on user interface and experience
Understanding of automated testing concepts in web apps, especially on the client-side, and the ability to consistently apply them
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively
Passionate about writing high-quality code and enforcing best practices in coding and design
Experience updating existing APIs in a service-oriented system architecture
Knowledge of API design necessary to lead contract design for frontend integration
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with backend languages such as Java or Kotlin
Experience building multi-tenant enterprise web applications for seamless scalability
Experience integrating with RBAC administration systems to manage application content
Experience building microservices to power cross product service access
Experience excelling in a Healthcare startup environment with cross team dependencies

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The expected salary range for this position is $178,100 to $222,600. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, and skillset.
