Role Overview:
As a Senior Software Engineer, on the Build team at Nayya, you will be responsible for supporting the transformation of complex, old-school benefits information into digital resources that employees can reference year-round—without any effort from employers. Leveraging AI, Nayya Build helps employers generate customized microsites and benefits documentation within seconds. This role is primarily frontend-focused, but all Engineers at Nayya are expected to be full-stack as necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build new features for our core products using React, Typescript and NestJS
- Develop tooling and workflows to ensure the maintainability of our products
- Collaborate closely with product and commercial to continuously innovate on Nayya products
- Maintain and monitor application infrastructure and quality
- Improve existing applications' functionality, speed, and reliability
- Be a part of the decision-making process as it relates to scaling the company and our products
- Provide technical expertise to promote business development efforts
What You'll Bring:
- 4+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on frontend and fullstack systems
- Strong proficiency with modern, object-oriented languages and frameworks (Typescript, Ruby etc)
- Strong expertise in React.js and its ecosystem
- Experience with modern frontend build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Vite).
- Experience with designing and building scalable, high-performance APIs and services
- Experience with AWS infrastructure or equivalent
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools
- Our hybrid policy is in office Tuesday - Thursday
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with micro frontend architecture
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG).
- Experience working with microservices architecture and event driven systems
The salary range for New York based candidates for this role is $160,000-$185,000. We use a location factor to adjust this range for candidates that are located outside of geographic region of our New York office. Placement within the salary band is determined based on experience.
