Yottaa is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - DevOps to take a leading role in building, optimizing, and supporting the infrastructure that powers our platform. In this role, you’ll apply your DevOps expertise to streamline deployment processes, improve system reliability, and enable engineering efficiency through automation and tooling. You'll collaborate closely with engineering teams on infrastructure design and implementation, serve as a tier 3 escalation point for operational issues, and ensure best practices across our AWS environments and CI/CD pipelines. This is a critical role for someone passionate about scalable systems, automation, and high-impact infrastructure work in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
Your Role
- Apply expertise to optimize and provision infrastructure supporting Yottaa's products
- Provide day to day support for the automation and tool building used by the Engineering group
- Provide a tier 3 escalation point for on call operation personnel when supporting infrastructure issues
- Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of project work driven by engineering group
- Implement and support RPM build and distribution, Puppet administration, and internal Operations and access
Your Experience
- 3+ Years experience creating and managing Terraform scripts to support infrastructure
- 3+ Years supporting multi account AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code patterns
- Proficiency and strong understanding in cloud deployment patterns with AWS
- Proficiency in supporting CI/CD tools such as Github actions, etc.
- Experience with with containerized workflows (i.e Docker, ECS, K8s)
Bonus
- Experience supporting a SaaS infrastructure
- Passion and drive for optimization of infrastructure, architecture and code
- Experience with monitoring SaaS Application using many cloud provider vendors (i.e New Relic, CloudWatch)
- Experience with CDK is a plus
