Senior Software Engineer - Crypto (P3)

Responsibilities

• Deliver the product and technical roadmap aligning to customer & stakeholder needs.
• Lead the design and development of cryptographic protocols and systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of security and performance.
• Implement cryptographic solutions ensuring they are robust, efficient, and scalable. You will also be responsible for integrating these solutions into existing systems and platforms.
• Work closely with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of cryptographic solutions. This includes participating in design reviews, providing technical guidance, and mentoring junior engineers.
• You will hone your business analysis skills to interact with product management team(s) to marry technical delivery and client requirements.
• You will develop customer focus skills.

Skills and Qualifications:

• To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering roles, preferably building a SaaS or Platform product.  
• Deep understanding of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and standards. This includes knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric encryption, hashing, digital signatures, and key management.
• Strong understanding of federated identity protocols, e.g SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Strong understanding of RBAC/ABAC policies, secrets management.
• Proven experience in with IAM solutions.
• Strong understanding of PKI implementations. 
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or alternative solutions. 
• Depth of expertise in high level programming languages (Java/Kotlin/Python etc.) with hands on experience in supporting (3rd level), investigating, diagnosing, debugging and fixing deployed systems. 

Nice to haves:

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Helm, Terraform or alternative solutions. 
• Experience building and designing Microapps/Microservices
• Hands on experience in managing infrastructure, containerisation & deployments.
