What You’ll Do:
Develop the next generation of continuous deployment at Roblox, building highly scalable systems that deliver thousands of microservices securely across on-prem datacenters and the cloud. Enable fast, cloud-scale infrastructure that reliably enables thousands of developers to deliver Roblox’s exciting mission. Have high impact working across teams, especially with our compute, storage and networking infrastructure teams.
You Are:
- Experienced working on service based infrastructure.
- Solving problems with distributed systems.
- Interested in the crafting and building highly available cloud infrastructure.
- Interested or experienced in foundational cloud technology.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Nomad or both in a plus.
- BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, MS/PhD or equivalent experience are a plus.
- Experience with Temporal is a plus.
You Will:
- Expand Roblox’s continuous deployment system to deliver foundational data center infrastructure to production.
- Enhance Roblox’s ability to execute across edge data center locations globally.
- Solve complex problems around scheduling and deploying microservices.
- Replace bespoke deployment workflows with standardized solutions.
- Work alongside cloud infrastructure professionals to deliver cutting edge solutions at scale.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$192,890—$238,520 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
