Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior C#/.NET Engineer to join our IT team focused on developing next-generation solutions for credit risk rating and financial insight applications. In this role, you will extend the capabilities of our risk rating applications and support the global rollout. You’ll also play a key role in advancing our CI/CD pipeline, automating software deployment, and ensuring reliable, secure solutions for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop reusable code components and libraries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extend risk rating functionalities and support the global rollout.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Work with SQL Server and Oracle databases for data storage and retrieval
- Ensure secure, failure-resistant designs from the start
Qualifications
Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience with .NET / C# development, including development of plug-ins and RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub)
- Strong experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Understanding of messaging platforms such as Kafka, EMS, ActiveMQ, and/or IBM MQ
- Demonstrated experience in producing reusable code components
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and designing for failure
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or comparable work experience
- Experience in the financial industry
- Passion for reactive programming and familiarity with functional programming concepts
- Open-source contributions or an active GitHub profile
- Familiarity with in-house frameworks for back-end development using containers
- Proficiency in other object-oriented programming languages, such as Java
