The Payments and Subscription Team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer-Backend to join our team! The Payments and Subscription Team’s responsibility is the key team for our subscription based streaming platform, do you like working with integrations and features, how about growth and commerce product types, come help us achieve our mission of building the premier Spanish Language Streaming Video Service.

- Engage with product owners, business stakeholders, project managers and other architects to translate the business needs into a Technical Solution.
- Design APIs, microservices and serverless applications with software engineers.
- Teach software engineers to help them learn and apply Software Design and Architecture patterns.
- Learn and implement innovative technologies, tools, architectures, or software engineering practices.
- Guarantee project quality in design-time by enforcing development best practices.
- Translate business requirements into viable and scalable applications.
YOU HAVE: (Qualifications, Required Skills & Experience)
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture
- Desirable experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience designing & developing batch processing for data pipelines
- Strong JavaScript and Typescript professional software development experience in an Agile environment using Git
- Practical knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL database model design and query optimization
- Strong software engineering practices like unit testing, PR reviews, design documentation and monitoring
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
